How do I sign my child up for Hartford Soccer Club?
You will register your child on our website. If your child is a returning player, please do not make a new account. Use the same account you used when you signed up last season. Need help getting into your account? Contact [email protected].
- Recreation soccer sign up begins May 1 and ends the first week in July.
- Select soccer sign up begins May 1 and ends on the first day of tryouts. A player who may not make the roster for select can opt to play in our recreation program.
At what age can my child start playing soccer with the Hartford Soccer Club?
You can start your child as young as 3 years old with our U6 program. Our U6 program is only one night a week (Friday), and they'll have a 30 minute practice followed by a 32 minute game. All of that is conveniently located at Independence Park in Hartford. The start time will vary depending on the time of year with the most amount of light available. Our U6 Coordinator sets the times for fall and spring, they can be reached by emailing [email protected].
Do I have to live in Hartford or go to a Hartford school to play for Hartford Soccer Club?
No, Hartford Soccer Club (HSC) is open to anybody that has a love for soccer. HSC is not affiliated with any school.
Which “U Level” Age Division do we choose?
Recreation levels are governed by the KMSL. U means "Under"

| U6 | Under 6 prior to August 1st of the playing year |
| U7 | Under 7 prior to August 1st of the playing year |
| U8 | Under 8 prior to August 1st of the playing year |
| U9 | Under 9 prior to August 1st of the playing year |
| U10 | Under 10 prior to August 1st of the playing year |
| U12 | Under 12 prior to August 1st of the playing year |
| U14 | Under 14 prior to August 1st of the playing year |
*Sometimes, due to circumstances, a child may be asked to play up a level to form a team, or because of skill.
A child is not permitted to play down.

I cannot afford to register for soccer?
We have an "Anyone Can Play" philosophy. We believe everyone should have the ability to play soccer, no matter what. If you aren’t able to pay fees, please contact [email protected] for information on how we can help.
I missed the Recreation Team Registration period or we only want to play in one season?
After registration closes in July, you can use the registration form to get on the waitlist. More often than not, we can find a team for your player, but it is not guaranteed. Once on a team, your account will be charged or you can pay by check. We do not pro-rate fees for players who wish to only play in the Spring.
